Known affectionately as the "Little Princess" of the Boston Theater District, the Schubert Theatre has served as a performing arts venue since its opening in 1910. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to be the home for many local community arts organizations. The Shubert Theatre also serves as a venue for the touring companies that present Broadway, theater, music, dance, and opera.
