Located in the back of an office building for a National Rollerskating Association, The National Museum of Roller Skating, founded on October 27, 1980, is dedicated to preserving the history of roller skating. It is the only museum dedicated to roller skating in the world, and boasts the largest collection of historical roller skate in the world. Some skates date all the way back to 1810. Through exhibits, the museum demonstrates all sides of roller skating, including sports from hockey to dance.
