Text-to-speech Audio
Formerly a depot for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, this well-preserved station is now home to a small local history museums as well as a local history and genealogical library operated by the Whitley County Historical Genealogical Society. The organization was established in 1996 and opened the museum to the public in 2005. Today, the museum is operated by volunteers and has limited hours, but members are happy to offer appointments for groups and out-of-town visitors.
