Located inside the Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Aviation Museum explores the history of aviation in the tri-state area. Its exact location is on the secured side of the Lt. Paul Baer terminal and therefore is only open to passengers or those who have scheduled prearranged tours, which last about an hour and a half. Visitors will learn about notable local aviators such as Lt. Paul Bear and Art Smith, who earned the nickname "Bird Boy," and other interesting information. Numerous items are on display including memorabilia, photographs, and model airplanes.

The museum features many aviation-related items on display.
