The Greenup County War Memorial was established on November 13, 1999 to honor the men and women who served and died in recent wars and conflicts. It is located along US-23 just south of Greenup, Kentucky. The memorial offers visitors the opportunity to view and interact with several pieces of historic military equipment such as a Huey helicopter, an M-60 Tank and other artifacts that are on display. There are also several benches for visitors who would like to sit and reflect upon the sacrifices made by U.S. Veterans.
