This 35-foot-tall rocking chair was built by the Dedeaux Family Furniture Factory in 1995. Intended to advertise their business, the chair has become something of a kitsch tourist destination and is known as "The Magnolia State Rocker." Handcrafted from southern pine and billed as the largest rocking chair in the world, the chair can be seen from a distance of over a mile.
