Before the Adams moved in, the building had been home to a general merchandise store, drug store, beauty shop, doctor's office and a dentist's office. A Rexall drug store was one of the longest occupants of the space. Most recently, the upstairs portion of the building was renovated to create beautiful downtown living apartments.
