Sometimes places get names just because we like to put names on things. In this case the name “Six Points” comes from the three roads that intersect here and form “6 points” (or they would if they all met in the middle which they used to do).

A 2021 Facebook discussion mentioned a place called Six Points. When asked to explain where that was, one county resident explained that she lived just up 750 W from that place in Warren Township. The location on the map matches her description.
