The northwest corner of 2nd street and Madison Street has been vacant since 2001, but was known as Kuhn's corner for over a century. Thomas Martin was an early owner of the lot and had a dry good store there. A later owner was named Kuhn, thus the name. It is also referred to as "Coon's" corner.

The northwest corner of 2nd street and Madison Street has been vacant since 2001, but was known as Kuhn's corner for over a century. Thomas Martin was an early owner of the lot and had a dry good store there. A later owner was named Kuhn, thus the name. The name stuck with the corner as it became home to a dry good store, a cabinet shop, a drug store, a grocery, and a garage. Later it would be home to the WKSR radio station. In 2001, a c. 1890 brick building located on this lot collapsed and it has been vacant ever since.
