Description
This short walking tour covers just a few blocks and takes you to the heart of Shreveport's St. Paul's Bottoms, where the Castle Hotel once house leaders of the Civil Rights movement. You'll also see Shreveport's oldest public burial ground, learn about a woman who help prisoners in the Bossier Parish Jail, and learn the basics about Green Book sites where people of color could stay, eat, and get gasoline during the darkest of Jim Crow days.
