The building was inspired by the Ohio Statehouse, and it replaced the Neil House, which was a hotel from 1925 to 1981 at the same location. The structure has one million square feet in office space, four atriums, a nine-story lobby, covered walkways, and two stories of greenhouses at the top.
The architecture of the building implements imperial red granite and bronze glass throughout the 512 feet tall structure. It creates the illusion that the two towers are linked by the bronze glass.
The center houses the Huntington Plaza, Doubletree Hotel Guest Suites, and the Huntington Bank building. It also features coffee shops, eateries, a florist, hair salon, shoe repair shop, variety store, medical center, and taxi stand.
