Indiana's oldest volunteer fire company. Built in 1841.

Used horses in the late 1800s. It was sold for $8,000 to Fairplay Co. in 1888. Little Jimmy, the weather vane, pointed to the fires. Fairplay still has the original Little Jimmy, he is enclosed due to weather damage, a new version now stands in his place.
