Located in a historic farmhouse that was built in 1780 and once home to Daniel Webster, this campus museum is full of antiques and exhibits that preserve and share Hanover's history. Other exhibits tell the story of Henry Fowle Durant, another influential resident who went on to establish Wellesley College. The cottage is owned by Dartmouth while the Hanover Historical Society maintains the museum.

Reverend Sylvanus Ripley built the cottage in 1780.
