Founded in 1976, the Islamic Society of Orange County is one of the largest mosques in the country and the largest in southern California, with a capacity of 10,000 worshippers. In addition to worship and religious services, the mosque offers lectures, educational seminars, a private Muslim school, and rents out space for meetings and other events.
