The Sixth Ward School

The Sixth Ward School was built in 1905. Today, the building is now The North Washington Extended Stay hotel. Back in the early 20th century, the school had two chimneys on the school's gable roof. When looking at the building today, neither of that exist. The school's last class graduated in 1979.
