This bridge, a relatively recent construction, commemorates the life and accomplishments of Walter “Red” Winn. Red was a pillar of the Methuen community and a longtime building manager at the Nevins Memorial Library. This footbridge abuts a park that contains a three-sided statue representing the legacies of the Searles, Tenney, and Nevins millionaire families of Methuen.
